The Universal Coordinates System (UCS) is used for navigation. You can move or rotate a 3D point cloud, BubbleView or a HyperBubble view based on the 3D cube selection.

When a point cloud data is loaded in Point Cloud Manager, a 3D cube is displayed at the bottom-left-corner of the workspace window with the following views defined:
-
Top
-
Bottom
-
Left
-
Right
-
Front
-
Back
Hovering the mouse over the cube highlights that particular area, and selecting a view positions the point cloud data according to the view selected. You can also align the data by clicking the cardinal points ("N", "S", "E", and "W").
The following images display the UCS Compass in the 3D perspective and 3D orthographic views:

For geo-referenced data, the UCS Compass is aligned to the "N" direction of the Dataset.
