Show volume from selected objects

To show the points around a Revit object or group of objects:

1. Select the desired object(s) in Revit, then select the Select Volume from Selected Objects button on the Point Cloud Manager application bar and then select the Show Points button. You can use this function along with the Revit Section Box feature within the Properties tab.

   

2. Enable the Section Box field. This places the section box around the extents of the point cloud and drawing.

   

3. Modify the box by selecting and dragging the handles on each side of the box until the desired view is obtained.

   

4. Select the Select Volume from Selected Objects button as shown below, and then select the Show Points button.

   

   This shows the points within the section box in high resolution as shown below:
