Before you start the link, you should have Point Cloud Manager started and your dataset loaded.
You can start the link by following the steps below:

Use the keying mdl load lfmustation or from the top menu of MicroStation utilities > mdl applications.
If the link has not been used previously, select the appropriate file using the browser as follows: C:\Program Files\LFM Software\LFM\mdlapps.

In the MicroStation Text Window, type mdl load, and press Enter.

In the dialog box, select Browse to browse for MDL Apps.

Select the relevant .ma file for the version of MicroStation being used and select Open.
