Interference Checking is run as a service which continuously checks the model for clashes, as the user places new components, and modifies existing ones.
To turn on Interference Checking:
-
From the main menu bar, select Tools > Check Interference. This loads the Interference Checking tool bar:

-
Select the Settings button as shown below:

-
On the Interference Checking Settings dialogue that appears, enable Activate local interference detection and S3D - Point Cloud. Local interference checking is now enabled, and any changes made to the model are clash checked against other objects and the point cloud data.
-
If you want to ignore the point cloud clashes, deselect S3D - Point Cloud in Interference Checking Settings.
