Disable SDK trusts

In PI SMT you can use the Security Settings tool to disable access to the Data Archive server through SDK trusts.

1. Under System Management Tools, select Security > Security Settings.

   The Security Settings tool opens.

2. Under Collectives and Servers, select the server.

   You can change settings for only one Data Archive server at a time and only for PI Server servers running version 3.4.380 or later.

3. Move the slider to the SDK trusts are disabled option.

   

4. Click Save.

5. Stop and restart PI Base Subsystem:

   1. Under System Management Tools, select Operation > PI Services.

   2. Right-click the PI Base Subsystem entry and choose Stop Service.

   3. After the subsystem stops, right-click the PI Base Subsystem entry again and choose Start Service.
