You can upgrade the PI AF server through the PI Server install kit or through the command line. The PI AF server consists of the PI AF Application Service and the PI AF SQL Server database, and can be deployed on one or more computers. Upgrading the PI AF server involves upgrading the PI AF Application Service and the PI AF SQL Server database.
