Ensure that all required ports are open

When a PI interface or PI client connects to a Data Archive server, the interface or client computer initiates a series of connections from an ephemeral port (arbitrarily selected by the operating system) to port 5450 of the Data Archive host computer. The interface or client will always initiate a connection to the PI Data Archive server; the server never initiates a connection.

With the assistance of your IT department, ensure that the necessary firewall ports on the Data Archive host computer are open as described in Port requirements for PI Data Archive.
