Export command syntax from the PI Server install kit

You can save all your feature selections to a file during a PI Server installation or upgrade using the install kit. The Summary page of the PI Server install wizard contains an option that allows you to save feature selections to a file that can be run from the command line.

This option is useful for the following scenarios:

You want to run a silent install to install a number of PI Servers using an automated script

You want to use the install wizard to customize your deployment instead of writing command syntax.

1. Launch the PI Server install kit on your host computer.

2. Select the relevant roles in the Server Roles tab.

3. Select the relevant features in the Individual Features tab.

4. Continue with the setup in the install wizard until the Summary window opens.

5. Click Save command line to file.
