Configure or update Data Archive backups

It is very important to configure nightly backups. See PI Data Archive backups.

For a collective deployment, make sure the primary and secondary servers have at least 30 minutes of offset for the backup time.

If you installed your SQL Server on the same machine as yourData Archive , the backup task should also backup PI AF, so ensure that the PI AF backup is configured successfully. A reboot is required before the backup will work for PI AF.
