View the installation log files

The PIServerMaster.log file indicates the overall success or failure of the installation. The Setup*.log files contain details of the installation of individual Data Archive modules.

If errors occur during installation, contact the Customer Portal and examine the installation log files as directed.

• For failed installations, the main log is located here:

  %systemroot%\PIServerMaster.log

• Additional logs are written to:

  %PROGRAMDATA%\osisoft\setup\log

  %TEMP%
