Create new primary or promote secondary

If your primary Data Archive becomes damaged or unavailable for an extended time period, you need to designate a new server as the primary server. To do this, you can do one of these:

• Create a new server on a new machine. See Create primary on a new computer.

• Promote an existing secondary server to be the primary server. See the High Availability topic Promote a secondary server to primary.
