Install PI AF server components separately

Follow the instructions in this section to first install the PI AF SQL Server database and then install the PI AF application service.

Note: Installing the PI AF SQL Server database and PI AF application service separately causes your PI AF deployment to be down longer than if you install those features at the same time. PI AF clients cannot reconnect to a PI AF server until the PI AF SQL Server database and PI AF application service are running the same version.
