Configure hardening measures

An important part of the post-installation phase of installation is tightening security around your Data Archive deployment by performing some hardening measures. These hardening measures include the recommendations that are found in the Knowledge Base article: KB00833 - Seven best practices for securing your PI Server, as well other tasks that deal with virus scanning and ensuring that your operating system is up to date. These measures help defend your deployment against unauthorized users and protect your data.
