Bug fixes
-
Measurement failure
Issue resolved which saw measurements being disabled when moving from orbit mode to 3D Context Viewer and in some cases measurements would not resolve.
Administration features
-
Project Management tab*
Point Cloud Manager January release improves the way projects work within Point Cloud Manager Administration. Within Project Management Admin users can now create sub folders and create and move Point Cloud Manager projects through out the folder structure.
-
Project Archive*
Projects that no longer require access through Viewer can be moved into archive storage. This mode of storage is a more cost effective way of storing projects whilst no access is required. The projects can be me moved out of archive 4 times over a rolling 12 month period.
-
New EU regions
Point Cloud Manager is now supported in three data regions across Europe, these are "EU-West", "EU-Central" and "UK". This gives Administrators the option of hosting Point Cloud Manager across different data centers to optimize the experience for users accessing the projects.
-
Volume Clipping
Dataset generation now supports clipping between min and max values for a volume. This option is part of the dataset generation menu found through the Scan Management tab.
-
ZFS Upload
Users can now directly upload ZFS and their respective "_Colour.jpg" files to CONNECT to take advantage of the greater performance of generation on CONNECT. We will continue to expand the file formats supported in later releases.
Bug fixes
-
Scan conversion
Improvements have been made to scan conversion. This is to fix issues where scans would upload but would fail to convert, showing as "Not Started".
-
E57 Import
Some e57 would incorrectly show as conversion complete when not all of the contained scans had completed. Issue has been resolved for E57 containing multiple scans.
