We are pleased to announce our new release of Point Cloud Manager on CONNECT. Please browse through this help for information on new features and bug fixes.
Features
-
Model Rendering
Model rendering is now available in the 3D Context Viewer, making it possible to interact with models, markups and point data within the browser.
-
Direct upload of models to the admin panel
For more information, please check the admin page.
-
AIM integration
Point Cloud Manager verifies the validity of markups and objects against existing tags within the AIM environment. This improvement sees only preexisting tags being passed to the AIM environment.
Bug Fixes
-
Markup media failing
There was an inconsistent error where images attached to markups would not load. This issue and an error with uploading videos has been resolved, so media should now upload and show more consistently.
-
Failed to find entity
Opening a project through a sharelink to an object would result in the error "Failed to find entity." This has been resolved and linking to objects should work as expected.
Known Issues
-
Admin page purge issue
Projects containing a lot of data stored within snapshots and not in the active project are intermittently not being purged correctly. This has been identified and is due to be resolved in the next update of Point Cloud Manager on CONNECT.
-
Slow measurement resolution
Taking measurements when in Viewer or through CONNECT loaded data within Point Cloud Manager Desktop application is currently slow. This will be fixed in the next update as part of a new feature improving the use of measurements.
