Understand Events to CONNECT data ingress and system component settings

Use the General tab to create MES Events to CONNECT Component Ids and import MES Curator Data Ingress endpoint configurations. In addition, view and manage product details, components, status, and memory settings related to Events to CONNECT.

The following agent settings are available on the General tab:

System Components
Use the System Component settings to import the MES Curator Data Ingress endpoint configurations and create MES Events to CONNECT Component IDs.
Note: There are two types of system components: OmfEgress and EventsToCONNECT. The OmfEgress component is required to run the agent. Both its Component Id and Component Type are reserved and cannot be modified or deleted.

Agent Information
Use the information panel to view and manage the administrative features. The following administrative parameters are available for configuration:

Service status: View the current status (running or stopped).

Stop/Start: Stop or start the Events to CONNECT Windows service.

Logging
Configure Events to CONNECT diagnostic information logging:

Diagnostics: Enable Events to CONNECT logging (data ingress, system, and data egress).

Metadata level: Configure the minimum severity for messages to be included in the Events to CONNECT logs.

Buffering
Configure Events to CONNECT to buffer data egressed from the agent to endpoints.

Product Information
Use the Production Information panel to review the adapter framework version, application version, the version of the underlying .NET Core framework, and the operating system that Events to CONNECT is running on.
