Complete the following activities to successfully set up MES to publish on-premises MES data to CONNECT data services for display in CONNECT visualization.
Set up MES Cloud Integration

Prior to proceeding, install MES. For detailed instructions, see Install MES.
At a minimum, the following activities must be completed to successfully complete the install:

Activate an MES Cloud integration license. For more information on activating MES product licenses, see Set up MES product licenses.

Subscribe to CONNECT data services. For more information, refer to the CONNECT data services online help.
A CONNECT account is required to access CONNECT data services and CONNECT visualization.

Install the Events to CONNECT agent. For more information, refer to the Events to CONNECT online help.

Using the post-install configurator, ensure the following activities are complete:

Configure the CONNECT unique site name. For detailed instructions, see Configure the curation services database settings.

Configure communication between the MES database and Events to CONNECT agent. For detailed instructions, see Configure the curation services AVEVA Identity Manager settings.

Configure the Events to CONNECT agent to collect data from MES Curator Web API endpoints and transfer them to Type store, Assets, and Graph API endpoints in CONNECT data services. For detailed instructions, see Configure AVEVA Events to CONNECT for MES curation.
