CONNECT Type

Use the CONNECT Type module to manage curation settings for MES Cloud integration CONNECT type definitions. CONNECT type definitions describe the MES asset, event, and reference data that are published to CONNECT data services.

By default, the CONNECT Type module is located in the System Management group in the Navigation panel. For more information on groups and modules, see Groups and modules.

Open the CONNECT Type module

• In the Navigation panel, select CONNECT Type.

  The CONNECT Type workspace appears.

  

  The CONNECT Type workspace tab consists of three panels:

  CONNECT Type workspace

  Displays a summary list of the available CONNECT Type definitions. Select a record to view its properties in the properties panel. For more information on CONNECT Type properties, see CONNECT Type properties.

  Properties window

  Displays the property values for the selected CONNECT type definition. Edit the value of a property by updating the associated field. For more information on the editing properties, see Edit a CONNECT Type.

  Error List window

  Displays error details if a type update was unsuccessful. For more information on the error log, see View error information.
