MES prerequisite software

During the installation process, the MES Setup tool analyzes the software installed on the node and includes any software that is required but not currently installed with the MES components that are being installed. This analysis is based on the MES role-based installation groups or the custom list of components that are selected to be installed.
The prerequisite software is listed below, based on the MES role-based installation groups.
If your organization is using MES with System Platform, System Platform (SP) 2023 R2 SP1 Patch 2 is required and should be installed or upgraded to prior to installing MES.
Note: The MES Cloud integration component is not compatible with SP 2023 R2 SP1 Patch 3. Do not install MES Cloud integration on systems running SP 2023 R2 SP1 Patch 3.

Note: Later versions of Microsoft .NET Core can coexist on the same system, but MES requires .NET Core 8.0.10.

The version of the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 4 x64 Runtime Redistributable that is compatible with the Windows server software running on the node
