Assign data log groups to an entity

If the entity's Can Log Data capability has been selected, then you can assign data log groups to the entity in the Data Log Groups property group. For information about adding and managing data log groups, see Data logger.
The data log groups would be those than can be used to collect data about the entity during production.
Assign data log groups to an entity

With the entity selected, in the Data Log Groups property group, select Edit.
The Data Log Group dialog appears.

Right-click in the dialog and select Add.
The Add Data Log Groups dialog appears.

Select the data log groups to be assigned.

Select OK.
The groups are added to the list in the Data Log Group dialog.

Select Close.
The groups are added to the list in the Data Log Groups property group.
Unassign a data log group from the entity

With the entity selected, in the Data Log Groups property group, select Edit.
The Data Log Group dialog appears.

Select the data log group to be unassigned.

Right-click in the dialog and select Delete.
You are prompted to confirm the removal of the group assignment.

Select Yes.
Select Close to close the Data Log Group dialog.
