Common buttons

The buttons described below provide general functions and are included on the toolbars of several tabs.

  • Refresh

    The MES Operator Refresh button used to update the information displayed in the functional tabs.

    Updates the data displayed in the tab.

  • Help

    The MES Operator Help button used to display the MES Operator online help.

    Displays the online help.

  • External Program

    The MES Operator External Program button used to open an third party application if configured.

    Runs an external application. The button can be set to pass parameters or arguments to the application. See Configure tab toolbars.

  • Launch Internet Browser

    The MES Operator Launch Browser button used to open a browser page if configured.

    Launches a defined browser and a predefined page. See Configure tab toolbars.

  • Switch User

    The MES Operator Switch User button used to change the active logged in user.

    Displays the User Functions dialog box, which allows you to change the active user in Operator. See Understand multiple users and MES Operator.

  • Open Form

    The MES Operator Open Form button used to open a predefined form if configured.

    Opens a predefined form.
