Use the General tab System Component settings to import a pre-configured MES Curator Data Ingress endpoint configuration file and automatically create an MES Events to CONNECT Component Id.
The MES Curator Data Ingress endpoint configuration file is available to import at the following location:
-
[MES installation folder]\Wonderware\MES\Connected MES\Support Files\MESCurator_Endpoints_Configuration.json.
The file configures Events to CONNECT to retrieve MES data in Current with backfill data collection mode with the Backfill Historical Data setting enabled, and the Backfill Start Date Time property configured to 4 days. This means that when the MESEventsToCONNECT component begins to retrieve data, it will backfill the data, starting 4 days previous to the current datetime (UTC), and move forward in time.
MES event data is retrieved at pre-defined intervals based on Data Ingress Schedules. Disconnections are recorded based on device status. History recovery automatically backfills data once device status is good. This configuration will read the staged data at configured intervals and send the data to CONNECT data services, as it moves forward in the future.
Notes:
- You may edit the provided configuration file prior to importing it, or edit the
settings within the post-install Configurator after importing the file using the following
procedure.
- The CONNECT data services OMFEgress component is displayed in the System Components list by default and cannot be deleted.

-
Select Import.
The Open file dialog appears.
-
Navigate to and select the pre-configured MESCurator_Endpoints_Configuration.json file installed with MES Cloud integration.
