Cancel a sample

The Sample Viewer allows users to cancel a sample if all of the following conditions are true:

• They have permission to edit samples

• The sample does not have a status of Future or Canceled

• The sample has not been finalized

Users click the Cancel button to cancel the selected sample.

The Cancel button is not included in the Sample Viewer button bar by default. The user can right-click the button bar area and click Configure to open the Configure Bar Button dialog box and add the Cancel button to the bar.
