Operator station recommendations

Operator stations are the PC or thin clients used by users with an operator role to control, monitor, or record information about the process.
Both client server (so-called fat clients) and thin client architectures are fully supported, with one not recommended over the other. See Terminal server recommendations for a description of the benefits of using thin clients.
