MES Cloud Integration recommendations

The MES Cloud Integration curation service manages the extraction of data from MES so that it can be published to CONNECT data services by the Events to CONNECT agent. The curation service provides two functions:

• Provides a Web API interface for the AVEVA Events to CONNECT agent. The agent periodically requests event data from the MES Curation Service including context information. When data is available, it is sent to CONNECT data services event storage.

• Extracts (curates) data from the MES production database tables and storing it in the staging tables. The default behavior is to curate data directly from the MES database. Using the staging tables requires additional configuration in MES Client.
