Events to CONNECT data egress settings

Use the Data Egress endpoint settings to specify the permanent storage locations for event data in CONNECT data services. In addition, use the data egress logging settings to configure how data egress is logged by AVEVA Events to CONNECT.

Note: Multiple AVEVA Events to CONNECT Data Ingress components can be configured for a single Data Egress endpoint and a single Data Ingress Component can have multiple Data Egress endpoints.

The Data Egress Endpoint and Logging settings need to be completed to successfully configure the Events to CONNECT Data Egress component. The order in which they are completed does not matter.

Configure Events to CONNECT Data Egress settings

• Complete each of the following:

  • Configure one or more CONNECT data services endpoints to send event data to using the Egress Endpoint settings. For detailed instructions, see Configure data egress endpoints.

  • Configure what data egress log messages AVEVA Events to CONNECT will record using the Logging settings. For more information, refer to the CONNECT data services online help.
