Graphics Object Types

You can add the following graphics object types to a graphics page using the Display the Drawing Toolbox.

Description

Free Hand Line — a hand-drawn line (see Add a Free Hand Line).

Straight Line — a straight line (see Add a Straight Line).

Rectangle — a square or rectangle (see Add a Rectangle).

Ellipse — a circle or ellipse (see Add an Ellipse).

Polygon — a multi-sided shape (see Add a Polygon).

Pipe — a multi-segment line that feature shading to create a tubular appearance (see Add a Pipe).

Text — displays text within a specified area (see Add Text).

Number — displays numerical values within a specified area (see Add Numbers).

Button — a simple control switch with 'on ' and 'off' states (see Add a Button).

Symbol Set — a collection of symbols that can be used to create an animation (see Add a Symbol Set).

Trend — displays up to eight trends within a specified area (see Add a Trend).

Cicode — adds a Cicode object (see Add a Cicode Object).

Web Content — adds an object on a graphics page that allows you to view web-based content at runtime (see Add a Web Content Object).

Pasted Symbol — inserts a Symbols on a page. Pasted symbols have different appearance properties to those of normal objects as you can only specify a visibility property (see Paste a Symbol).

Pasted Genie — inserts a Genies onto the graphics page (see Paste a Genie).

Composite Genie — inserts a Composite Genies onto the graphics page (see Insert a Composite Genie).

Process Analyst — displays an instance of Process Analyst within a specified area (see Process Analyst).

Database Exchange Control — allows you to connect to a data source (see Add a Database Exchange Control).

Scheduler — inserts the Scheduler control onto a graphics page (see Add the Scheduler ActiveX Object to a Page).

ActiveX — an ActiveX object (see Add an ActiveX Object).
