[General]EnableIndustrialGraphics

  • Last UpdatedSep 30, 2025

This parameter has been provided in Plant SCADA 2023 R2 Update 15 (delivered in October 2025), to allow you to disable Industrial Graphics functionality within Plant SCADA configuration tools.

It is recommended that you apply 2023 R2 Update 15 (or later), then manually set this parameter to disabled (0) in your citect.ini file on any Plant SCADA computers within your production and engineering systems. See AVEVA™ Industrial Graphics for more information.

When the parameter is disabled (0), the following will occur:

  • You will no longer be able to launch the Industrial Graphics Editor.

  • Industrial Graphics content will not be added to any new projects. Starter projects will still include default Industrial Graphics content.

  • The compiler will not check for Industrial Graphics content and will not display any error or warning messages related to it.

  • Any projects that do not contain Industrial Graphics content will not have it added when they are restored, upgraded or copied (using the Copy To command).

Note: If a project already includes Industrial Graphics content, it will be retained when the project is restored, upgraded or copied.

Setting this parameter to disabled (0) will also have the following implications in Plant SCADA Studio.

  • Visualization | Menu Configuration ─ the Industrial Graphics view will no longer be accessible.

  • Visualization | Pages ─ the Industrial Graphics view will no longer be accessible.

  • Visualization | Libraries ─ the Industrial Graphics view will no longer be accessible.

  • Setup | Languages ─ the Industrial Graphics view will no longer be accessible.

  • Standards ─ the Styles view will no longer be accessible.

Note: Once you have disabled Industrial Graphics functionality using this parameter, we recommend keeping it disabled as the default Industrial Graphics content may no longer be in your project.

Allowable Values:

  • 0 - Industrial Graphics functionality is disabled in Plant SCADA's configuration tools.

  • 1 - Industrial Graphics functionality remains enabled.

Default Value:

1
