You can view the source of an embedded graphic by using the SymbolReference property.
To detect the source of an embedded graphic

Select the embedded graphic on the canvas.

In the Properties Editor, view the SymbolReference property to see what object or environment contains the source and the name of the source graphic itself. This can be:

Symbol:SymbolName.
