BACNET Driver

The Plant SCADA BACNET Driver supports communication with the BACnet Data Communication Protocol, a widely accepted standard for building automation and control systems. This allows Plant SCADA to integrate with building management systems for heating and air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, security and fire detection.

The Plant SCADA BACNET Driver is designed to communicate with BACnet networks and devices using the BACnet/IP option.

Note: It is recommended that you use the BACNET driver with a version of Plant SCADA that is fully supported in accordance with AVEVA's Software Support Lifecycle and Retirement Policy. The driver will work with Citect SCADA 7.50 SP or a later version (see below), however it will not be fully tested or supported on these earlier versions. Search the AVEVA Support Site Technology Matrix to determine the support status for your current version of Plant SCADA.
• For Citect SCADA 7.50 SP, patch 14 is required.
• For Citect SCADA 2016, the March 2017 update is required.
