The process required to add nodes to a project template is described in the Integration Studio documentation. Click on the help icon on the Integration Studio title bar and search for the topic Add a Project Template.
The following is additional information that will help you add Plant SCADA Nodes to a template. It aligns with the steps you progress through when you create a new template.

Project template information
In the System Suite definition field, select 2023. This suite contains AVEVA products with 2023 branding that are supported by Integration Studio.

Node Configuration
When you add a node, select 2023-PlantSCADAR2 as the node type.

You also have the option to select a Machine type. This determines the level of performance supported by an instance.

Be aware that the level of performance you select for a node will directly impact the cost of running an instance. The higher the performance, the more it will cost per hour to run. You should confirm which Machine Type is appropriate for a node with your CONNECT administrator.
If required, you can also enable up to two network interfaces (NICs) for a node by selecting Enable multiple NICs. To learn more about this feature, see Enable multiple network interface cards (NIC)s in the Integration Studio documentation.
Note: Multiple NICs will only be supported by Integration Studio if you have used an IP address when configuring the network addresses in Plant SCADA. Check that you have not used a hostname to define the associated network addresses in Plant SCADA. For more information, see Configuring Network Redundancy.

Launch parameters
Indicate if you want a node to create instances based on a Development Workstation or a Runtime Client. See Use Plant SCADA with AVEVA Integration Studio for a description of each.
Be aware that a Development Workstation includes a Runtime Client. If you are setting up a Development Workstation there is no need to select both, though there is no implications if you do.
