Configure a basic SA_MiscellaneousEquipment symbol

The basic configuration of a SA_MiscellaneousEquipment symbol is a single piece of equipment with a fixed speed motor. Only a single custom property must have a reference value assigned that indicates when the equipment is running. Fill animation indicates when the equipment is running or not.

To configure the basic SA_MiscellaneousEquipment symbol

Drop the symbol in a WindowMaker window or embed it in another symbol from the Industrial Graphic Editor.

Show the list of the symbol's custom properties.

From WindowMaker, double-click on the symbol and click the Custom Properties tab to show the default custom properties.

From the Industrial Graphic Editor, right-click the symbol and select Custom Properties from the shortcut menu to show the defaults in the Custom Properties dialog box.

Assign Boolean reference value to the EquipState custom property and click OK.

If you want, assign an optional string value as the symbol's label.

Right-click on the symbol, select Substitute, and then select Substitute Strings.

Enter a string value for Label and click OK.

Run the application containing the symbol in WindowViewer to verify that your configuration changes are correct.
