SA_5EquipmentMode is a support symbol intended to be integrated with other symbols as an equipment control mode indicator. The symbol can show up to four equipment control modes using single character to identify how a piece of equipment is being controlled.

  • A Automatic

  • C Cascade

  • M Manual

  • Normal, which can consist of one or more control modes (A, M, or C) and does not show a character.

Some symbols can represent multiple pieces of equipment using Equipment Status Indicators. The SA_5EquipmentMode symbol shows a single equipment control mode indicator and is assigned to a specific piece of equipment within a symbol that represents multiple pieces of equipment.

Note: If you want to integrate a control mode indicator into a symbol that represents a single piece of equipment, use the SA_ModeStatusIndicator symbol instead.
