Situational Awareness Library valve symbols use background fill color to indicate the requested and actual status of a valve.

The background color of a valve head symbol component indicates the requested or commanded state of a valve.

Requested valve passive state

HeadActive

Requested valve active state

HeadInvalid

Invalid requested valve state

HeadDualCommand

Equipment requested passive or active state (this is for dual command option, two independent commands either request passive and request active)

The background color of a valve body symbol component indicates the actual or feedback state of a valve.

Valve status active.

Valve status in transit.
