Symbol exceptions

Before configuring an SA_MultiLevelMeter symbol, understand the following limitations of the symbol:

• A StackLevel type of meter can only show Hi and Lo limit alarm indicators. Set your lower and upper alarm limits at the measured values in which you want the operator to immediately acknowledge the alarm condition.

• Use alarm limit indicators on a StackLevel type of meter sparingly. Alarm indicators can move with measured values and potentially overlap each other, making it difficult to associate alarm limits with their measured values.

• Alarm Border animation applies only to a single measured value on either the StackLevel or TwoAdjacentLevel types of meter symbols. Configure Alarm Border animation for the most important measured value shown by a symbol.
