Configure a basic SA_PolarStar_6_Spoke symbol using InTouch tags

The basic configuration of the SA_PolarStar_6_Spoke symbol shows six spokes without labels or Alarm Border animation.

To configure a basic symbol, you need to assign attribute values to the SpokexPV and SpokexSP custom properties for each spoke.
Optional strings can be assigned to the symbol's spokes using the Substitute Strings feature.
Prerequisites
This procedure explains how to configure a basic symbol using references to InTouch tags

Create a set of InTouch Real tags for the PV values assigned to the spokes of the symbol.

Create a set of InTouch Real tags for the SP values assigned to the spokes of the symbol.

Create an InTouch application with a window to verify that the symbol has been configured correctly.
To configure a basic SA_PolarStar_6_Spoke symbol

Drop the symbol in a WindowMaker window.

Double-click on the symbol to show the Edit Symbol Properties dialog box.

Click the Custom Properties tab to show the default custom properties.

Assign InTouch tags to the Spoke1PV and Spoke1SP custom properties.

Click the Browse Galaxy button to the right of the Default Value field to show the Select Tag dialog box.

Assign an InTouch tag as the reference value of the Spoke1PV custom property.

Assign another InTouch tag as the reference value of the Spoke1SP custom property.

Repeat steps a through d to assign the PV and SP tags to the remaining spokes of the symbol.

Click OK.

Save your changes.

Run the application containing the symbol in WindowViewer to verify that your configuration changes are correct.
