IsAreaObject Wizard option

The Boolean value of IsAreaObject indicates whether an instance referenced by the SA_AlarmSeverity symbol is an ArchestrA area. The default value is True, indicating the reference is to an area.

Other ArchestrA attributes can be used as reference values for the custom properties of the SA_AlarmSeverity symbol when IsAreaObject is set to False.

When IsAreaObject is set to True and the SA_AlarmSeverity symbol is configured as an alarm severity indicator, the custom properties listed in the following table must be configured.

AlarmDSCntTotal custom property Set to an area instance AlarmDSCntTotal attribute.

AlarmInhibit custom property: Set to an area instance AlarmInhibit attribute.

AlarmMode custom property: Set to an area instance AlarmMode attribute.

AlarmModeCmd custom property: Set to an area instance AlarmModeCmd attribute.

AlarmOnCntTotal custom property: Set to an area instance AlarmOnCntTotal attribute.

AlarmUnAckedCntsTotal custom property: Set to an area instance AlarmUnAckedCntTotal attribute.

PlantState custom property: Set to an area instance PlantState attribute.

When IsAreaObject is set to True and the SA_AlarmSeverity symbol is configured as alarm panel, additional custom properties listed in the following table must be configured along with the custom properties listed for an alarm severity indicator.

AlarmOnCntTotalVisible custom property: Set to True to show the count of active alarms on an alarm panel.

AlarmUnAckedCntsTotal custom property: Set to True to show the count of unacknowledged alarms on an alarm panel.
