Dashboard symbols use a repetitive set of custom properties for variables or other repetitive visual elements shown in a symbol. The custom properties are listed by their assigned variable number. For example, the SA_ValueComparisonChart symbol includes ten custom properties (Variable01 to Variable10) to associate a measured value to each variable shown in the symbol's chart.

A single description describes each repetitive Dashboard symbol's custom property. The XX characters in the custom property description denote a variable number in the custom property name, which indicates the description is appropriate for all similarly named custom properties.
