Historian Wizard option

  • Last UpdatedAug 05, 2024

Historian options specify the node name of a Historian server or the UNC path to InTouch LGH files that provide historical data shown by a trend.

  • AutoDetect: The Historian node name is automatically detected from the AppEngine on which the reference attribute is running. For example, if the Reference field is set to UDO.UDA1, then Auto-Detect is set to the Historian server name configured for the AppEngine on which UDO is running.

  • Expression: Set the node name of the Historian server as the value of the HistorianName custom property.

  • InTouchLGH: Set the UNC path to the InTouch Log History/LGH file as the value of the UNCPath custom property that will provide the historical data.

  • None: No Historian node name is required. The trend shows only current run time data.

When Historian is set to Expression, the HistorianName custom property appears to set the node name of the Historian server that provides historical data to a trend.
