The SA_ROC symbol is a support symbol intended to be integrated with other symbols. The symbol consists of an arrow icon that shows if recent measured values exceeded a threshold rate of change percentage.

The trend of recent measured values is represented by the arrow's vertical or horizontal orientation. When the absolute percentage difference between two consecutive measured values exceeds a rate of change percentage range, the arrow points up or to the right to indicate the rate of change was positive. The arrow points down or to the left to indicate a negative rate of change.
Symbol exceptions
The SA_ROC symbol has no known exceptions or limitations.
Symbol components
The SA_ROC symbol consists of the rate of change arrow shown above, which rotates vertically or horizontally based on the symbol's specified orientation.
Wizard options
The symbol has a single Orientation Wizard option - Horizontal / Vertical to orient the symbol horizontally or vertically.
Custom properties
The symbol includes two custom properties:

Set to a measured value. Consecutive values will be compared to each other to determine if there is a rate of change trend. |

Set to an absolute percentage to create a rate of change range above and below a measured value. When a subsequent measured value is beyond the rate of change range, the symbol arrow points in the direction of the rate of change. |
