Some equipment symbols show a motor symbol component that indicates that a motor runs equipment represented by the symbol. There are two types of motors: Fixed and Variable.

Note: This topic explains how to set up a fixed and variable speed motor for an SA_Agitator_Settler symbol using examples from the SA_Feeder symbol. Other than differences in the names of custom properties, setting up a motor is the same.

Fill animation of a Fixed motor indicates if the motor is running or not. Gray fill indicates the motor is active or running. A white background indicates the motor is passive or stopped.
