The SA_ParallelCoordinatesChart symbol plots variable values that represent shared attributes of a common item. For example, the following parallel coordinates chart shows a continuous ingredient feed to a pastry mixing station. The line formed by the variable values creates a visual profile, which is useful for comparison with other similar items over time.
The variable values shown on a parallel coordinates chart are normalized and independent from each other. The default lowest and highest variable values are 0 and 100 percent respectively. The symbol includes custom properties to individually set the Y-axis value limits of each variable shown on the chart.

The symbol includes the ShowHistoricLines Wizard option to show cached sets of variables at 10 second periods over a 30 second interval. The symbol shows the current variable line and cached lines collected at 10, 20, and 30 seconds.

The 30 interval repeats and updates the cached variable lines continuously during run time. A legend beneath the chart shows line patterns identifying each cached variable line.
