Custom properties

Dashboard symbols use a repetitive set of custom properties for chart bars or other repetitive visual elements shown in a symbol. The custom properties are listed by their assigned bar number in WindowMaker and the Industrial Graphic Editor. For example, the SA_ColumnChart_Pairs symbol includes pairs of ten custom properties (Bar01A to Bar10A, and Bar01B to Bar10B) to associate a measured value to each bar and its pair shown in the symbol's chart.

A single description describes each repetitive Dashboard symbol's custom property. The XX characters in the custom property description denote a bar number in the custom property name, which indicates the description is appropriate for all similarly named custom properties.

The character (A or B) appended to the bar number indicates the position of that bar within the pair. The left bar in a pair is A.
