DiscreteCmdType Wizard option - Valve and Damper

  • Last UpdatedAug 05, 2024
  • 1 minute read

Discrete valve commands control the position of valve actuators that operate against discrete valve bodies. A discrete valve can be either OPEN or CLOSED; there is no other stable position.

DiscreteCmdType provides options to support a set of discrete valve commands:

  • None: No actuator commands are supported.

  • CmdOpen: Command to open the valve actuator

  • CmdClose: Command to close the valve actuator

  • CmdOpenAndClose: Both the valve actuator open and closed commands are supported.

The Body Wizard option must be set to Discrete to show the DiscreteCmdType Wizard option.
