Note: The SA_AlarmSeverity symbol shows alarm data only from ArchestrA objects.
The symbol shows aggregated alarm counts from an ArchestrA area object, which may contain one or more other objects. The counts represent all alarms within an area. But, the symbol can also work with other ArchestrA automation objects too.
An alarm severity indicator is a simple horizontal bar that shows alarm counts by their assigned severities. A graphic icon is associated with each alarm severity. An alarm severity indicator can show active or shelved alarm counts, but not both simultaneously.
An alarm panel can show both active and shelved alarm counts in a vertical two column list by severity. Shelved alarm counts appear in the right column. An alarm panel also shows the count of active and unacknowledged alarms and includes a command panel for operators to disable, silence, or inhibit the alarms during run time.
