A Time Period Menu shows 10 preset trend periods for the SA_Trend_MultiPen symbol. During run time, users click on the chevron icon near the top left corner of the trend grid to show the Time Period Menu on top of the trend grid with the current trend period selected. After clicking another preset time, the trend period updates immediately but the Trend Period Menu remains for five seconds. Users can click the same preset time again to increment the trend period by the preset value. For example, if the user clicks `30m twice, the trend period is 60 minutes. Likewise, clicking another preset time changes the trend period to the last selected preset.
The Time Period Menu automatically disappears after five seconds of inactivity or if the user clicks the chevron icon again. The current trend period appears above the trend grid if the TimePeriod Wizard option is set to True.
A trend period selected during run time with the Time Period Menu lasts while the application is running. After stopping the application, the trend period reverts to the value set by the TimePeriod custom property.
