An SA_MeterConnector symbol connects adjacent meters with a line on which endpoints show the measured value associated with each meter. While the application is running, the endpoints of the symbol's connector line show the current or cached measured values of the connected meters.

Typically, an SA_MeterConnector symbol shows similar measured values from two or more meters. Using the symbol with multiple related meters in a series creates a visual profile of a set of measured values that can easily be recognized by an operator. In the example shown above, an operator can easily identify the tank that is filling more slowly than other tanks.
The SA_MeterConnector symbol can show the current and up to three cached measured values. A measured value is cached each time it changes. A solid line between meters represents the current measured value. The previous three cached measured values are represented by different line patterns.
Note: The HistoricalValue Wizard option must be set to True to show cached values.
