The basic configuration of a SA_BoxChart symbol shows a chart consisting of 10 chart bars oriented vertically. Each chart bar is assigned an individual measured value, an average, a maximum value, and a minimum value.

For the sake of simplicity, this procedure shows how to configure a simple chart symbol consisting of only two chart bars.

Prerequisites

This procedure explains how to configure a basic symbol using a reference to an ArchestrA object attribute as the measured value.

  • You must have the following data sources to graphically represent these values with this symbol.

    • A measured value

    • An average value

    • A maximum value

    • A minimum value

If you do not have the object attribute data, you can enter static values for the average, maximum, and minimum custom properties to see how this data is graphically represented by the symbol.

  • Create an InTouch application with a window to verify that the symbol has been configured correctly.
