Dashboard symbols use a repetitive set of custom properties for chart bars or other repetitive visual elements shown in a symbol. The custom properties are listed by their assigned bar chart number in WindowMaker and the ArchestrA IDE. For example, the SA_VariableMonitoringBars symbol includes ten custom properties (Bar01 to Bar10) to associate a measured value to each variable shown in the symbol's chart, along with a number of range settings.

A single description describes each repetitive Dashboard symbol's custom property. The XX characters in the custom property description denote a variable number in the custom property name, which indicates the description is appropriate for all similarly named custom properties.
