The SA_Alarm_HistoryPage shows historical alarms from a specified period that are stored in a Historian database or history blocks on disk. This symbol incorporates the functionality of the ArchestrA Alarm Client control.
Note: The SA_Alarm_HistoryPage symbol only shows historical alarm records.
The symbol includes a set of tabs to filter the alarms shown in the alarm client area by alarm severity (1-4). The symbol also includes an Events tab to list historical events.
The GroupBy function sorts alarm records in the alarm client area of the symbol.by a selected column heading. Selecting GroupBy and clicking the Type column heading sorts historical alarm records by severity.
The right-click shortcut menu provides Sort and Requery options. Selecting Sort from the menu shows a control to sequentially sort the alarm records by up to three tabular columns in the alarm client area. Selecting Requery performs an immediate query of the database for the period shown in the Time Duration field of the symbol.
A connection to an alarm source can be established by starting the application containing the SA_Alarm_HistoryPage symbol. Custom properties can be set to show Connect and Disconnect buttons on the symbol to manually connect and disconnect from the alarm history data source. A Wizard option provides three authentication modes to connect to the alarm database.
